Table Lamp with shade

I had to take this table lamp apart because I was told it was a Delft. From what is left of the markings at the bottom it seems to be a Kinkozan pottery. Is the color blue what is called 'Gosu blue'?

Take the shade off and take a closup pic and one of the bottom !!  Looks like typical 60`s or 70`s table lamp to me !!  Unless the owner had it drilled and converted !!

Try looking at the Guangxu marks.

I uploaded another picture to photobucket just taken of the upper inner lip of the vase with a label stuck saying 'Made in Japan Kinkozan Pottery'.

So its a Satsuma type import !!  Factory closed in 1927 so it dates early 1900`s !!

There's no way that's Kinkozan. Not the really fine maker of Satsuma that I know anyway.

I'll explain :

Kinkozan made high quality satsuma vases. Classic Japanese pottery.
This lamp is blue and white blossom, a Chinese staple but also faked and copied for decades.
Put the term " made in Japan Kinkozan pottery " into Google and you'll see half a dozen results, all related to eBay. That's half a dozen results on the whole of the Internet.

The labels look like they were printed by a shop or a dealer.

I agree that it is a fake, the decoration has nothing to do with Kinkozan...

You sure dish out a bitter pill Mat - Fake. Well, I guess the truth will set you free. Another label on the inside lip says 'Jordan Marsh Company Boston ' which I believe is Macy now. Maybe I can sue them for selling my wife's family way back a fake Kinkozan!!!!!

Look, I do not know if it is a good idea to sue them based on forum opinions! This is just a decorative lamp, and who knows if they sold it as "Kinkozan" or not?
