Yes, looking at it now in a totally different light (no pun intended!) so to speak. I would say it is in fact a period piece, just not william & mary. The whole W&M thing through me off but, as soon as PA entered the discussion i was on firmer ground. 30 years ago or so, your stand would be worth much more than it is today, time has not been kind to values in antique furniture, it's just one of those is what it is kinda things. Old furniture just isn't in fashion these days plus with down sizing of retired people in a boom time, an OCEAN of product to choose from.
