Made of walnut, I would think about 1890. It has a strong aesthetic movement element with the ceramic tile backsplash. It's hard to know for sure who made it if there are no maker's stamps or labels; however, there was a company in Bournemouth, England that produced quite a few of these. I've got a similar one myself.

Anyway, a very nice piece. Depending on where you are, it could sell from $400 to $800.

Can you take a pic of the dovetail joints or however the front is attached to the drawer sides !!  May be mistaken but looks like a reproduction made much later to me !!
Just need to double check !!

Hi Mart, Yes no problem, i would rather know one way or another. It doesn't exactly look like it has been done in a machine shop.  :)
Many Thanks for the reply

Update: I've also found that a company named Palmer Brothers, a general store in Great Yarmouth, England that is still in business, carried very similar products. I believe that the store is just called Palmers now. The photo in the link is very similar to the one I've got:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Late-Victorian-Antique-Mahogany-Marble-Top-Washstand-/370493472295?hash=item564321be27:g:ePgAAOxy79VRcawh

The link says that Palmer Brothers made this, but I think it's more likely that the store simply carried this line of merchandise. In any case, I still think we're looking at ca. 1890 England.

Excellent !!  The construction would date approx as Ghopper said !!  Could  be a bit later than that as this type of joint was used in the UK until about 1930 !!   Here in the U.S. reproductions such as this were made in the 1940`s and 50`s !!
