Good to see Rauville posting again! You were missed!

Does anyone know about these regular posters, all of whom have been MIA about 6 months or more:

Ironlord 1963
Greenacres
Hosman321
KevinM
Wendy177
Sapphire

Ironlord is still alive and well.  Actually ran across him selling on Ebay several months back and he was moving to another state.  He said he is just is soooo busy with life but hopes to get back to the forum.

I found him on ebay too !!  Says he is in Missouri rather than Chicago !!  I think thats where he was before !!
Sapphire is doing well last I heard about a month ago !!  She moved after her hubby died to be close to her kids I think !!
Wendy`s hubby ran for state senate in 2014 but have not heard anything since before that time !!  I could not find her on any of the social media sites !!
Think I will send KevinM a PM and see if he answers !!  We had another Kevin but cant remember his name !!
There is  also Rockandrollrods that used to be pretty regular !!  Illinniguy I can probably find !!  He retired and is active on another forum which is his main interest !!  Arrowheads and artifacts !!
And then there is Snowflake and Sugarcube !!

I think Sugarcube has been around fairly recently.

I wish Sapphire and Wendy would come back. Lots of knowledge there!

And speaking of knowledge, Mart, you've got plenty. You're the mother hen/social chairman of antique-shop.com! ;D

Hosman321, who lived in Washington state, went through a divorce and now lives in Arizona. I caught up with her on FB  and she came back to forum for a few posts but drifted off again.
I drift off myself quite a bit as i have only one major interest in antiques and forum can go for months without any inquiries about early furniture. It may be the same for other MIA's as well plus life changes causing former posters to drift away.

Except about old furniture! Texans don't know diddley about old furniture! If it wasn't for the railroads, they'd still be sittin on tree stumps down there!

Can't hardly see the tree stumps today with the dust devils and tumbleweeds!  LOL

Mart, his notions about Texas are something else.  At least he is giving credit for having trees and not telling to go sit on a cactus!

Cactus doesn`t like our sandy soil here !!  Thank heavens for that !!   But around Big D there are plenty in that black land  and gumbo clay !!   Those prickly pear apples are sure good !!

Yeah, i spent several weeks in Dallas a couple years ago and the earth/dirt there is black! Never seen that before and when it gets wet? like chewing gum, all sticky and icky, weird stuff!

I keep in touch with Hosman on Facebook. Ironlord posts there once in a while as well.
