Hello again,
I am trying to find out information on some stoneware I picked up at a yard sale. It is Independence Ironstone by Castleton China dishware. There are 63 pieces total. 8-5 piece place settings, and 2 serving bowls, a soup tureen with lid, a coffee pot, salt and pepper shakers, and salt and pepper grinders, sugar and cream set, a bell, 2 candlesticks with a lighter, and 4 small bowls for sauces, a covered butter dish and two oval serving bowls. Any information would be appreciated. Some crazing noted and 1 dinner plate is missing. Please see pictures attached.

Hi KdRose,

There seems to be tons of it on eBay.  I'm including a link for sold items. This will give you a better idea on value than listed prices.

Karma to you Pelady for providing such a helpful link for kdrose!  Nice seeing you on here again!

Hi kdrose!  Nice ironstone set made in Japan with purpose of import.  This ironstone is a great for everyday usage and holds up well.  It was mass distributed therefore you can find pieces of it around for sale to complete a set if you want more.  If you are looking to sell it...you will get more in the long run to sell it in broken down sections other than to try and sell it as a whole set.
