"Big Japan" plates

I have some plates marked "Big Japan". I haven't found this term on the web. Does anyone know anything about these?

Welcome to the forum !!
Scroll down about a third of the way for info on Dai Nippon,,Great Japan !!  It is a generic mark used on items intended for export  !! Used mostly between the wars,, 30`s and 40`s but there are earlier examples as well !!

We didn't get a drop - just lots of wind!  Now all the leaves from up the road are in our driveway!  Guess what will be going on here tomorrow?

Yep we have a mulching blade but there are sooooo many leaves it looks like dirt over the grass after mulching!
