Hi...........Wm Rogers & Son were, as the name implies, father and son and worked together circa 1856-1873. History of the Rogers Silver went through different stages and changes over the years and I'll stand corrected to an authority on the Rogers family.
You don't show a photo and you don't state what pieces or how many the set consists of. You state that the pattern is April...........Apr il is an International Rogers & Bro., circa 1950 silverplate........ a cluster of 3 flowers at the tip of the handle and a smaller cluster at the base of the handle.
If you were replacing a few pieces to a set, you would be expected to pay $7- $12 per knife, fork and spoon and I would consider this a fair price. Serving pieces command higher prices, perhaps double that.
However...........i f your purchasing a set, as you previsously stated (8 knives, forks, spoons?) I would expect to pay less than the prices I stated.
"April" is a collected pattern....... but it is just above seldom collected patterns........ so it is not rare but is collected.
