Crystal bell and pattern

I assume this is crystal by the sound and crystal ball in Center. To me I see a Star of David. I'm questioning the age too. I think it's more 40's.

Yes, ABC (American Brilliant Cut) or ABP (American Brilliant Period), probably early to mid 20th century.  Here's one sort of like it:

I'm a sucker for this stuff. So beautiful, and (like so much else in the antique world) becoming far too cheap.

Ghopper1924, thank you. I agree the sound is beautiful! I'm trying to figure out what's what still from my mother in law.

I have one just like it!  It was my mothers and had to be from the 50's to early 60's.  Love the sound it makes!
(Mine is packed up somewhere as we continue the remodel...dagnabbit!)

I believe it is a pinwheel pattern with star center and saw tooth edge.  I am not sure if the star in the middle is called a Hobstar.  So many variations and makers during this time period!  :)

It's so delicate. I may keep this. Some of the items I will donate to our thrift store at the Center. They can always use the money.

They really are pretty!

I had mine sitting on the piano and friends/family just couldn't resist ringing it.  Makes people smile!  Once all is done I will put it out again!
