Lead Crystal Bowl
« on: September 05, 2017, 05:08:05 pm »
Ihave a crystal bowl about 3" high x 4 1/2" in depth that has what may be a wheat deep etched pattern.  The bottom has what looks like an acid etched "M" (cursive).  Does anyone have any ideas on the maker of this lovely bowl?  I have seached M hallmarks, lead crystal glass bowls and can't find anything like it.  I've seen many bowls with a different wheat pattern and others that are deep etched.  I was hoping you might know the "M" hallmark - it could even be a "W" hallmark!!!!

Looks like a beautiful bud bowl (for floating a flower in!)

Does it look the the M in this post?  Don't think they ever figured it out either.  (It isn't a N!)

The mark is identical to the link you sent.  I too wondered about a N1.  I also looked at rose bowls and bud bowls and can't find the pattern or the hallmark.  Thanks for trying to find it.
