James tufts a1 bar spoon

Any idea on the age of this bar spoon and if it has any value? Also what should be used to clean this up?

The silver plate spoon is the daisy pattern attributed to James Walker Tufts around 1900.  I always use soap and water on silver plate items first.  While polish will protect from further tarnishing, it may also remove the outer layer of silver.  Here's some history on company"

Just wash it but do not polish if you are going to sell it !!

This is the Daisy pattern with the Windsor Twist Handle.

These sell for between $8 - $12 in my area depending on condition.
