Very Old Photo 1800's? With Manison In Background,Could be Someone Famous

I've had this photo over  20 years,I can't find out who this family is,there's a large home in the background like a mansion,do anyone know the people on this photo,could be somebody famous

Looks more like a government or public building to me !! Look at the number of windows and the plain front !!

Mart I was thinking president but haven't found nothing in all these years.This photo is very thin like paper,it was hidden behind a painting

Almost reminds me of pictures you would see taken of families having picnics at city parks or promenades!

I'll go out on a limb and say that this is a university building, and that it's a faculty family having a picnic in front of it, possibly the chancellor or president. Looks like it's ca. 1900-1915.
