Emile Louis Picault (1833-1915) – Opima Spolia Statue

I have a statue that appears to be bronze measuring about 24" tall that says E. Picault - Opima Spolia - France.  This statue appears to be an original Emile Louis Picault piece of art but I can't be sure.  There are 2 repaired areas - one on the leg and one on the arm holding the lamp.  Also, the globe is missing where the lamp is.  Your help will be appreciated in determining the authenticity and worth.  Thank you

Unfortunately, yours is a replica of the statue that has been made as a lamp.  There were variations made in early 1900's.  Some have wooden bases and some have marble (like yours).  They also made them with different lighting variations from globes to flames.

These items are totally by public demand and the market is down at this time.

Prices ranging from $250 - $350 in my area if wired and in great condition.
