I wish I could help you with this... it is a gorgeous vase.

Can you give the dimensions of the piece please?

The crimped work looks an awful lot like Sam Diana's work.  Diana Handcraft 1945 Rochester Penna.

Apparently she hasn't forgotten us Mart or she wouldn't be here!  LOLOL

Hope all is going well with you Mart.

We have had workers tearing out walls/ceilings/flooring, etc.  All from the winter freeze here that busted pipes/flooding.  1/2 of Downstairs is destroyed. Plumbers, Electricians, Pool Services, Construction, etc is in high demand with all the destruction.  Our neighbors pools are down for at least 3 months because they can't get parts.  (We had no power for 6 days.  We tried helping all neighbors to turn off/drain pipes/plumbing/pool pumps before they froze but once power/water was restored after a week it was crazy.)  Temp got down to 30 inside our home - we deserted and went and lived with friends a bit.

What Misery! Glad you're still with us, KC. Sorry about all the destruction.

Glad Mart's still here!!  Mart, did you decide to come back after dipping your toe in the "other" forum for a bit?

Pleased to see Wendy177 back again. With the passing of Cogar and the absence of Jacon, we need more blood around here, whether new or old!

Ups and downs of course. Things seem rather slow at the moment. Looks like Jacon/James has flown the coop on both sites! :( :(

This site definitely has a cozier feel, but we need some of our old regulars to show up more; otherwise it's just a handful. 10-15 would be optimal!

Anyway, my thoughts are with you ladies down in Texas. That cold spell really hammered you! Awful when your home is disturbed!

I am still here, sort of! Just not regularly.
Yeah, Texas got HAMMERED! Glad to see you Tex folks made it thru!
Nothing like getting caught up in a once-in-a-century climate event to expose weaknesses in energy infrastructure. The solution? NATURAL GAS! it comes to the house underground in a pipe so you can at least have heat & hot water, even more appliances if you invest in a natural gas generator.
Emergency gas generators have been required ( called life safety systems) for decades on many commercial structures to operate the hallway, stairway lights & elevators so people can safely get out of a building during an emergency but these days, many are being installed in residential applications. Install prices have come way down in recent years as the market has responded to the reality that when a catastrophic event occurs, you are pretty much on your own, energy-wise. :)
