hi there

Kent in Montreal here

just checking on a cabinette that i have... i was thinking of selling it and someone told me it might be worth something... so i'm checking around.

It would be greatly apreciated if someone could give me any info on it.
So far there was a doubt that if it was chinese at all due to the carvings on it.

let take a look and let me know what you think.

Hi Kent...........some pieces of furniture are difficult to comment on.  I'm not accurate all the time and the earlier the piece the more difficult it can be when your looking a photos......

This appears to be a linen cabinet or closet, wood is Mahogany??
I'm leaning towards Empire style because of the carvings. The hardware and the dovetails appear to make it circa 1815 but you should have it looked at by someone who knows and can look at it "hands on" and not photos.
