Antique Brass lamp?
« on: November 12, 2005, 08:55:58 pm »
hello

I have a lamp, Or It may not be. It may have been turned into one.
I have a pic of it. It seems like its brass with angels all over the
lamp. The artwork on the lamp seems like something from the sistine chapel

The pic is listed here, Follow this link to the pic

Any info would be appreciated, I can be emailed at

superdave151@netzero.com

Interesting lamp - guessing 1960's 1970's.  The wiring looks modern.  Brass or brass finish?  Are there any tiny little scratched areas on base that might show the white metal ?  If it's brass plate with a nice finish on it you might expect to pay $20 - $35 in a good used furniture shop.  The raised design figures are cherubs.  Would blend well in any decor.   KB

With the photo shown............I'm in total agreement with KB.............my indications were 1970's and cherubs.
