Can you help me identify this mystery object?

Hi! Can anyone help me determine what this object was used for? It is approx. 15" high, white glazed ceramic, with floral sprigs decoration (looks like decals) and signed on bottom "Arnel's" with what looks like "CRV" mark on bottom. Any information would be wonderful Thank You!

That is what it appears to be !  But ,, not all designs are popular !  This one looks like a bummer !

Another option KC,,,  Remember those little straight pins  with the pearl ends about 2  to three inches long ?  My grandmother used them when she quilted and in sewing !  Looks more suited for  those !  That would have been more hatpins than most had and used going by the number of holes !

Hmmm....not sure about the small beaded pins but it would work.

Arnel's was a Beaverton, Oregon company that manufactured long lasting, high quality ceramic pottery.Arnel's started in 1953 in Beaverton, Oregon, making high quality ceramic molds and finished wares. The molds could be purchased at hobby/craft stores and then have ceramics created by enthusiasts.

Mart, this could possibly be a toothpick holder.  I just would have to see a toothpick in relation to it.  Toothpick holders were very popular during this time period for the "woman's luncheon" era.

Could be KC but what would hold the toothpicks in ?  Looks like they would drop  down without something in the middle !

Do you remember those tiny straight pins with the pearl ends that were about 2 to 3 inches long? They were used by my grandmother when she quilted and sewn! It appears to be better suited for those smsf audit! Given the number of holes, that would have been more hatpins than most people had and utilized!

Thats what I posted about above !  Its a mystery !  But my grandmother used those pins you are talking about !  Approx 2 inched long with a plastic pearl on the end !
