Identification Help for a 1937 Broggi Gold-Plated Plate
« on: November 25, 2024, 03:54:07 pm »

Hello,
I have a gold-plated plate weighing 820 grams, marked with "Broggi," the year 1937, and the number "24." The plate features a central eagle motif surrounded by intricate geometric decorations.

I would like assistance with:

1. Identifying the origin and significance of the eagle symbol.

2. Confirming whether "24" refers to gold plating (24 karat) or another standard.

3. Evaluating the historical and artistic significance of this piece, particularly regarding Broggi’s craftsmanship during that period.
