Star Brand Shoes were very popular from the start in 1898 until 1911 when it was merged to form The International Shoe Company.

This was a popular form of advertising putting the logo/information on "theater folding seats" which most likely was in a shoe store or department store with limited spacing so they had a pull down seat.  Do you know the origins of this chair?

Here is a set of three that have been for sale on 1st Dibs.

Yours is a bit more worn.  Are there any markings on the chair/wood/iron that indicate a date on them?

I did not see any markings that would indicate a date.  I just thought it was a neat item to have.

Thanks for looking.

It is a very nice piece of history.  An up close/hands on exam would be needed for the condition if you have someone you could go see locally.

Unfortunately the market is a bit down for now...but hold on to it....the market will rally!

Thank you so much for sharing!
