winterling plate?
« on: March 03, 2006, 10:02:05 pm »
I have a 4.5" Winterling, Marktleuthrn Bavaria plate, it's numbered 65. The only thing I have been able to find out about it is that the Winterling stamp/emblem on the back is dated 1950. I have not been able to find an exact match anywhere on the internet, nothing that matches the image/artwork or the number. Does anyone know any more about it or point me in the right direction.

Since you have the date etc I might suggest a favorite site: or 2:

www.kaleden.com   leads to a great commercial site

www.efineantiques.c om

and of course:  www.replacements.co m

also:  www.edish.com

sometimes it takes a lot of "scrolling" as the numbers aren't always pattern numbers.  Interesting that your screen name reflects the porcelain.  This is lovely porcelain and not always easy to find an exact duplicate.  Don't overlook the popular sites:  e-bay and some of the European e-bay sites.  Best wishes, KB
