Kenmore Sewing Machine w/ desk and chair
« on: October 04, 2006, 11:11:46 am »
This is a Kenmore Sewing Machine hidden inside desk w/chair. The desk has 4 drawers It comes with the original manual, and attachments.

I want to sell it but I dont know what it would be worth? If anything? Any ideas?

It has a power cord and the light lights up but I dont dont know if its supossed to have a pedal or knee controller? I dont know anything about them.

Model# 120-71
Sn# 85394

The desk measures the following:
30 1/2" high
19" wide
34" long (closed)see pics
68" long (open)see pics

I reasearched the item and this is what I have found out:

Manufactured: unknown, estimate 1950
Kenmore #120.71
Bobbins: vertically mounted round rotary bobbin
Kenmore Electric Rotary.
Manual contains directions for operation, adjustments, oiling, attachments and parts list.Use bobbin case #3368, bobbins #10025 and needle 206X13

You can still get parts:

Just from skimming the forum I found this quote/advice by Kcantiques in referance to sewing machines:

Quote
your not going to like this but...not much if anything....sewing machines in general are hard to sell unless they are SINGER featherweights or childrens models.

I assume this applies in your case aswell but I hope for your sake that I am wrong =)  Best of luck!
