Antique mahogany and stained & beveled glass fire screen
« on: February 22, 2007, 01:52:14 am »
Hi,
This is my first post on the forum but I urge anyone out there that can be assistance to please respond as I will truly be grateful.  I am trying to determine the origin of an antique fire screen that has been in my family for some time now.  It was purchased from a private seller in the midwest US and the seller claimed the piece to be attributed to R J Horner.  Additionally it is made of mahogany wood and leaded stained and beveled glass.  I believe it is from the late 1800s however I have never seen a similar piece.  If anyone has information on the fire screen or any other similar pieces I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank You,
Dave
