Does anyone know anything about these Antique Italalian Plates

Hi I have some Italian Plates.  On the back it says "S.A. Hand Painted Italy".  I am trying to figure out what the S.A. stands for and the value of these plates.  If anyone can help it would be great.  Thanks!
