I have a set of 12 (with some extra pieces) of nostalgic 1950s diner dishes). The dishes are white with a green border (typical of the dishes used in the diners of the 1950s). There are several different china companies listed on the back of the dishes. Some of the companies that make up the set are the Carr Mutual China Company, Syracuse China Company, Welleville China Co., Welleville, Ohio; the Stearnes Co., Chicago, Iroquois 14 USA. The placesetting includes dinner plates, cup & saucer, 12 oz. soup bowls, 6 ounce vegetable bowls, 3 ounce dessert bowls, bread plate, shallow dessert plate. Anyone know the value of the 12 place settings. I am trying to find a buyer for the whole set. These dishes came from my catholic grade school cafeteria where I went to school in the 1950s. They may be older than 1950, but I was in school there in 1955. They are in excellent shape. I would appreciate any info. Thanks.
