D.B.Hartley chair

I have a recliner chair which appears to be all original wood and upholstery in excellant condition. It has button to puch to recline, around this is stamped D.B. Hartley.Chicago,1883. Any info to its value would be appreciated. Picture available.Thanks.

I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THIS CHAIR IN THIS FORUM. I ALSO HAVE THIS CHAIR. I AM ALSO WANTING TO KNOW HOW MUCH IT IS WORTH. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT FOR YEARS. IF ANYONE KNOWS IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I have a D.B Hartley chair, also known as Hartley House chair.   Took it to the Antiques Roadshow on July 12, 2008.  I was told it was in excellent condition, with original fabric, and was worth appx $700 to $1000.
