antique projector?
« on: November 17, 2007, 11:52:28 am »
I bought this earlier and can not find for the life of me who it is by, or if it is even worth anything. I am not an antique collector but i love photography and at 1st i though it was an old camera and for 5 dollars i didn't want to pass this up. If any one has an info on this it will be wonderful.

the cord looks like it has been re-adapted for out let, and also there is a missing screw, the lens looks to have been replaced and also the wood in which the slide is placed has been broken.
on the wood piece that was i believe meant for the slide there is the name CHAS.I.NEWTON (new york)
the lens says Nicholas power company incorporated new york  on one side, and the other Spencer buffalo NY.

Without research, I can't comment much other than to say it is a camera........
