Imperial Drum Table and vintage folding ship table
« on: February 25, 2008, 12:29:16 pm »
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and have some questions. My wife came home with two pieces yesterday and I am just wondering if anyone can hel I.D./ date them and give an aprroxamite value. The first is a round mohagany table with one drawer in front and a cream colored leather top. It has a three legged pedastal base with nice leaves carved into the base. It has a sticker inside the drawer that is shaped like a shield marked Imperiel Grand Rapids. It also has the number 816 stamped into the bottom of the drawer. The next piece is some kind of novelty table. The antique store had a sign that it was a card table. It is about three feet high and folds with a paper over wood picture of a ship at sea. There is a sticker on that also but not in good shape. I can only read the words Novelties and topper productions, it also has a stencil that reads  PAT. APLLIED FOR #11 GREETING AT SEA. Thats all the ifo I have on that piece. Any help would be greatly apprieciated. By the way she didn't pay much for either piece and both were aquired in New Jersey.
