I can't tell from the photos what they are made of. Photos too small and grainy. Sorry. Looks to be a resin composite.

Hi Tim,I've found this on ebay & it sold well.They look similar, thou my guys got more details to his face hands etc

I didn't think they looked ivory, but may very well be. If they are, then their value is substantially higher than that of resin. There are certain restrictions concerning ivory. Whale ivory prior to 1972 is legal to buy/sell/collect. Other ivorys, IE:elephant, walrus, etc. have different restrictions.

I'm no authority on the legalities so I stand corrected if the above is incorrect.

My uncles friend who goes to Auctions says after looking at them that they look like resin & where made to look like bone or ivory.He said they where imported from china in the 50's but told me he was not sure if they where worth anything.I think I'll end the ebay Auction,as they are probably only worth Penny's
