I have a question about two very old Japanese Statues
« on: July 15, 2008, 02:02:21 pm »
I am posting this because I am trying to find out about two  (I'm guessing) Plaster statues that I had received from my grandmother. Neither have any markings on them and I can only guess that they are from the 1950's. Any help I get on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

in the early 30's they would have been called. carnival chalk.( plaster) for what ever the reason. black become a popular color in the 1950's.these would sell in the $30.00 dollar range.
