Hi,
I have a copper or bronze plate which came down from my family and I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me some idea where it may have originated from and how old it might be.
I have attached some pictures of it.
It has what appears to be hunters on horses in pursuit of maybe deer and wild boar in a large ornate circle. It looks to me as though it is entirely hand made with some sort of punch tool and the plate itself is forged and beaten by hand as well..possibly! Its quite beautifull to look at.
So if anyone has any information or ideas it would be much appreciated.
