Andrea figurine lamp with child holding banjo

I found an old lamp at an estate with a figure of a child holding a banjo. It's painted in only pink and white. (2 Pics attached or email me if they don't show up.)
The statue is of a white tree with a pink colored child standing in front of it, a pink bird and pink flowers on it. The figurine statue is loose from the base and enables me to peak under it. There's a gold label that reads: Andrea  Made in Japan. There is also a number painted on the base of the figurine which I can't make out unless I took the base of the lamp apart from the statue. It looks like a fraction like 72/? Any ideas of to the origin and the value?

     I think what you may have is a figurine made in the post war japan, it was required to be marked, 50% of the product was marked "occupied japan" .
This is assuming it was made in late 40's to the 50's.  That would explain the cherubs, during this time this stuff was made for the Americans and allied countries.  So they produced many western theme's and motif.  Just starting to get some knowledge of porcelain, so I'm not expert, but that is the first thing that came to my mind.  If this is the case you have a moderate valued item, and very collectable.
