Sorry let me know if I make you guys to crazy!!  I did try to  do research  on my own and found a wonderful website but I can still not make heads or tales of markings!!

Looks kinda like a Fukagawa mark...but my japanese is very , very poor .

A japanese-reader could clear up this mystery in a snap !

I found a photo of a dish with some of the same patterns as this one clouds,scales??,  It was Imari could not see the back of that dish did diffrent makers copy styles or are they pretty much one Provence would only carry that style??

You will find that many makers did copy....especially if it was a very good selling design.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

I'm interested in Asian pieces too. We have some Imari and I've included pictures. As you can see the mark on the back is a small blue square. I've been trying to find a resource for Asian marks but haven't had much luck. Does anyone know of a resource like that? Thanks
