Empire Parlor Table from Louisville ( Wm C Dodge)

I recently purchased an American distributed Empire style parlor table (rectangular folding top that requires the top to rotate to open properly) for $200.  Nothing special except there is a distributors stamp of Wm C Dodge, forth st, Louisville Kentucky on the inside.  I also have been able to date the table to Civil War times or earlier as it is very close to a table I have seen in Abraham Lincolns house in Springfield and Mr. Dodges shop closed in the Civil War.
The mahogany veneered top  has a large age crack but does being a southern US piece make this worth anything? I don't find many references to Mr. Dodge of Louisville on the net.

Dodge did sell furniture in KY in the later 1800's.

Looks to be Flame Mahogany, this style is found in late empire and over lap of the federal period.also called pillar & scroll late classical circa 1835 to 1850 $500.00 Dollars.
