Crown Devon/Old Court Ware/Poole and Glassware
« on: September 24, 2009, 05:23:16 am »
Hi there,

My great auntie has just moved house and had a clear out. She has asked me to find out if any of these items are worth anything.

The glass vases have no marks on them but the pottery on the right do. The matching white jug/vase are Poole England, the Skinny vase is Crown devon, and the glazed blue/red flower vase is Oldcourt ware. The big orange vase at the back on the left is also pottery and has "Piateel Gouda Holland" written on it! Everything is in great condition with no scratches/marks. They just all need abit of a dust off!

(sorry I can't figure out how to directly upload the photos to this post so have stored them on the previous links)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks x

The small green vase really looks like a Anchor Hockings vase I have just acquired and the other green one I would gamble on it being a anchor hockings also.  then I see a small green Depression glass ware item, can't see the pattern very well.  So that is all I know, just something I have just learned over the past couple of days
