I have a cabinet that belonged to my mother. I can't seem to find out anything about it. My parents were antique dealers and this was in the living room for as long as I can remember. I don't even know what it is... I looks like, maybe, a tea cabinet or china cabinet. It maybe cherry or mahogany. It has two doors with beveled glass panes (maybe 15 panes in each door), on each side there is a wooden door (looks like for storage), on each of these doors there are mother of pearl inlay of fancy peacocks. The border around the top has a mirror with more inlay. It stands about 5 to 51/2 feet tall. The feet are squared. I don't know if it means anything but inset on the back panel are these numbers: R1787 101
I can't find ANYTHING, or I just don't know where to look.... If you have any information or know where I may be able to look next PLEASE let me know.
I can get a picture if anyone needs....
