Lady on Rose Cup

I was wondering about the age on this un-marked cup.
Has some crazing, a few stress lines, and a tiny chip on the rim but still seems to be stable.
I liked the way her figernails left a imprint on the delicate flower.

Not much to look at but here is the bottom.

By the way the cup is 5 1/2" x 4".

Oh there's lot's to look at. she's Art Deco. & not made in japan. I would'nt be surprised she would bring a $100.00 Dollars at auction.

     That is a wonderful looking cup and I could easily see it get that just based on the looks.  Art Deco and Novea era stuff is still pretty hot items and the uniqueness of items like this is just adding to the bonus.  History may be hard to find, but looks can make up for that when items are like such.  I like it so it has to be worth a lot    .

DP, am I just seeing a shape caused by shadows or uneven surface or is there a "T" and possibly a "K" around the 7 o'clock mark?

Yepper, art deco!  I would be saying if it didn't have that chip could go up to $130!

I took a look at what your seeing Sapphire and I see what your talking about but it's difficult to say if these are intentionally put there or something that resembles these letters by coincidence.

While I was looking under magnification I noticed a possible #4 that looked impressed into the cups base right by the marks Sapphire mentioned. May be something or nothing but I'm glad you brought this up or I would of never seen it as a possibility.

  Cogar is correct. I have one. but not as nice as your's.& it's made in japan.
