What are they carved from?  Any carver's name or marks?  Can you give some idea to the sizes in inches?

all carved from wood and range from 6in to 30in

   Looks like a nice set of wooded Figurines, snoop just a bit around and found the Anri Figurines to top the list of wood carved figurines and they seem to be really hot.  Couple of yours sure appears to be close to the Anri figurine style.  I have seen a few wood figurines around in my treasure rounds and they get about 19.99 in the thrift stores for the large ones and the small will range from 2 to 5 bucks.  However the one you have look much better in quality and appearance.  Check out the Anri Figurines and let us know what you think.

If you type in Anri Woodcarvings you will find lots of sites on their carvings and on Ebay you will find lots of them.  I did find the most infromation on them at anri.com.  They are known for figurines, bottle stopper and nativity sets.

I have been collecting ANRI items for many, many years.  The most common that people relate to have the metal insert with ANRI on it.  There are also the ones that have ANRI etched in them.  Then of course there are those much older ones that don't have as clear of identification.

There are many carved figures that come from the Black Forest area of Southern Germany that like to tout they are ANRI but are not.  However, their craftsmanship is superb as well!!!
