Glass Jug engraved advertising soda syphons from Smith & Co Mineral Company in Wolverhampton.
Does anyone know if this is of any value?

No, its an engraved glass water jug.

Here are some photo's of the water jug. Its not cut glass but it is beautifully cut/etched.

First they would call that a pitcher, and I did look up the brand and I didn't see it yet, but you can go to the Bottle Forum website. Try www.bottleforum.com You'll need a picture there too. Are there any numbers on the bottom. Patents numbers work like this. The earliest ones would have one number, and so on. If there are none, then that may show that it's a pitcher or it was pre patent. That will help date it. The were so many mineral water companies. That doesn't mean it not valuable. Go to the bottle section on ebay and check it out. Usually it's the colored glass that is valuable.

Depending on it's age, it is a nice Advertising piece, ...... as well as a Historical piece that I'm sure that any history buff or collector of Wolverhampton memorabilia would be interested in.

Agree with cogar on this one.  Or, just someone who is a pitcher collector or vintage items would like it.  In other words it is worth something to someone!
