I was told this furniture is gothic revival + added palor chair

Is it totally ruined with the paint? If I restore professionally back to the pink wood it would be ruined? It's already chipping a little near the marble.

I'm not sure what you mean by "pink" wood or whether that was a statement or a question. Maybe you meant to type ...... "back to the pink wood would it be ruined?" ??? ???

In other words, your finish is chipped and your "bare" wood underneath is showing?

Sure don't believe it is gothic revivial!

The last one...FRENCH...is my favorite!! Nice handiwork on it!!!!  In my area it would sell for $250 - $400.

I remember this chair sitting in my grandmother's living room. I've always taken good care of it. Hopefully one of my children will want it.!

I know that feeling!  You hope that at least one of your children will embrace the love of carrying down a family piece for the generations!

I told my kids that the lucky one who gets my King Louis XVI piece might get me too - I might be creamated and put my urn inside it!  :)  As you can guess that made them "real happy"!  NOT!  (I was just kidding just love shocking them often!)

LOL I should do that with my carousel horse. They'll say "Yeah, in her declining years we never could get Granny off the merry-go-round!"
