Antique Metal Printing Plates on Wood

Can anyone tell me what these are and if they are worth anything?

They are old printing plates most likely used in newspapers.  Value is in the image and what someone will pay for that image.  Advertising plates are commonly collected but the general subject matter in yours (that I can make out) does not appear to be highly sought after.  Value would be $1-6 each if you can find a buyer.

to add to wayward, more collectible would be famous people, important events and advertising plates. They are engravings made for letterpress printing. Earlier one were of copper, most, as yours appears, are of zinc.

I forgot to take a picture of this other one. It reads "Practical Science" & has an image of a dog on it as well.
