This dagger has a curvy style similar to a Kris, but its manufacturing process and fittings have no resemblance to that weapon which is very specific to the culture that produces them, some are very ornately decorated, but all have heavily worked damascus type layered steel blades. My thoughts on this one is that its not that old and something that came on the market in the 60's or 70's as a belt/boot knife. Ive posted the photos on a couple of other sites for other opinions as well. Better photos would help of course.
Okay Ive got several responses all leading to WWII to post war Phillipines production, the leather was leading me in that area as well. Ballpark value $50 or so.
