Keelings & Cay, Chamber Pot
« on: January 18, 2010, 12:04:16 pm »
We found Lasol Ware, Burslem, England #3862

We know it closed 1936/37 but can't find any other info about our chamber pot.  It has a motled, gold patter with dark, blue cabbage roses.  Also gold trim around the top. with dark blue handle.  Doesn't look as if it had a lid.

Where else should we look to get approx $ value.

Thanks

There not in demand. so the value is not there. I'am sure it had a lid. they were not called ''Slop'' jars for nothing. Trust me. they can be difficult to handle.

When I was young' ;D my grand mother still used them. they had to be carryed to the out house. there awkward. it dose'nt take long to discover why there called ''Slop'' Jars. :-[
