i think this could be a tea set.

it is heavy,maybe brass,some kind of wood in the handles. ::)

Looks like a brass and rose wood set.  Aret there any markings on the bottoms or something to help Id the maker.  Would go really nice with my Brass and rosewood Flatware set.

I really don't know much about this "set" in particular...but you have several different types of goblets (wine and water/tea).
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

   I can see your point.  With a coffee and tea pot, creamer and Sugar, Goblets, and Water glass, kinda a mix match set.  Could just be that, not actually a set orginally and someone brass collection.  Are there any markings at all.  Mostly I see these items with india stamped on them.  Seems india has quite the brass market.
