When is this picture from?

I bought this picture last night because...well, obviously I liked it. But I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's from the 20's. I usually don't buy pictures like this that are newer than the 20's but this one was just classic. That sexy sailor outfit and the beach in the background just scream WWII to me. But then, I don't know if the frilly parasols like those were still popular in the 40's. Any ideas?

My uneducated GUESS is before WWII based on the fashions and frame.
1920's-early 30's is my guess.
Hopefully you'll get some better and more knowledgable input on this one.
I like it as well and can't blame you for grabbing it.

Any imperfections in the glass?

I don't think there's any imperfections but I haven't gotten it yet. I don't like the ugly design around the picture so I'll probably put some dark mat or velvety stuff over it. Not doing any damage to the original, of course. I know it's not a big deal when it's really from but I like to know exactly what I have so I don't sound like an idiot when I tell people about my stuff.

Your girls look like they have just won a boardwalk bathing beauties costume contest. These were very popular at seaside places like the Beach Boardwalk that we have in Santa Cruz CA. Up in the arcade there are lots of photos like this. There was a certain amount of nostalgia and silly costuming happening with some of these contests too. Below I'm posting some similar photographs which are from Mack Sennett's Comedies which date from about 1915 to about 1920. I think by comparing to similar photos, that yours would likely date to this time period. I think the frilly parasols and hats are nostalgia costuming.
