it has the style of Ansonia clock co. it's also suffering from a damaged clock face. appears to be walnut.

It definitely resembles an "8 Day Clock" that Ansonia made.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

Thanks, it is Ansonia. I may be able to get a replacement paper face from Timesavers. I believe this is from around the 1880's. Can you guess on the value?
