I need to find something close to compare the two. I have not found anything so far . What does the front look like that has the advertising on it. Soemtimes this determines the value as in how ornate it is to a collector.

Thanks ironlord for the nice comment. I have been told my kitchen is like a small museum. I have been trying to de-clutter if that is a word. No more room for anything well maybe one,LOL.

Way nice churn!! That's kind of where I'm going with my kitchen too. A cheese safe would be great, but probably out of my current budget I'm afraid! But I'll watch and see too! :-)

I am no position right now to buy anything. I should be in the selling market right now. I just do not have the space. I have things  stuffed away in just about every drawer and corner right now. I am getting ready to sell a few items on that  big auction site. What do you need ? Another coffee grinder ? Old blue striped butter crock ? LOL

Correct me if I am wrong but the name looks like Whittier.  I have searched the patent database by names of Whittier, Whitaker, Whittler and nothing has come up!  Also searched it by The Knight Cheese Safe and nothing came up either.

I'm not coming up with anything. I would be guessing at a value. It would be hard to display this one in a house so that would hurt the value a little. I still like it though  . This would be a great addition to an old style restraunt for conversation.

All I am finding are new ones, made in the UK selling for L29 to L50 for approximately the same size. I'm not seeing any antique ones. That doesn't give you much to go on for pricing it! I found these just by searching Google for cheese safe.
