Yup, comes in waves ... my trusty old main comp had to be put down after eight years (!) of near non-stop service. Now working with the secondary (and newer) comp alone - it hurts not being able to 'real multitask' on two machines at the same time
As bad thoughts result in bad karma, I'll insert a funny:
A surgeon, an architect and a computer tech are stuck in an elevator and hours go by with them talking about all kinds of things. In the end they come up with a discussion who actually has the oldest profession. The surgeon instantly states that everybody could read up in the Holy Bible that God had created Eve from a rib he had taken from Adam, clearly the job of a surgeon. Smiling, the architect followed with the statement that he had read the passage but a few pages previous it was written that God had created Earth in merely seven days, clearly an architects masterpiece. Weird laughter comes from the computer tech: "Dudes, if you remember the very first page you would know that God created everything in and from utter chaos. Now guess who was responsible for *THAT*?"
