Is it a "Hoosier"
« on: March 18, 2010, 08:16:19 pm »
I have been told that the item pictured at http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Z92KFRGBQz8/S6Jb0P0R7FI/AAAAAAAACD4/A77RMiTkxnE/s1600-h/Hoosier.jpg is a Hoosier.  I have tried to do a little research but I am not sure if the term Hoosier is a generic term for this kind of thing or does a "Hoosier" have to come from a specific company.  I couldn't fine any marks on it.

Thanks.

Hoosier was a company that produced this type of cabinet...but quickly was attributed to be the "style" of the cabinet.  They were made by many companies.

Yours definitely has the flour sifter.  They are highly sought after - but that doesn't mean you will get rich!

Yours is in fact in the style of the Hoosier cabinet.
