unknown retro plywood chair

Hi, does anyone recognize what kind of chair I have ??? Please help. Thanks.

Not too sure about what kind of chair you have , chigato , but it would be easy to spot in a crowd !

I'm wondering if you know what type of wood (outer layers) your chair is made of ? ... sorta looks like teak-ish to me ....

I think that type of furniture is call 'molded plywood'. It does look like it's from the 50's. Still being made today. Couldn't find one like yours. A company called Herman Miller makes that type of furniture. There are others too.

It looks like oak. I've never seen a shape like this.

I have seen some style like this that came about late 1940's to early 1950's.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

looks to be a swedish import. 1950's or so. could easely reach a couple hundred dollars.
