I didn't get too descriptive on purpose (or post any images either) , cogar .
I have not seen any counterfeit items like them , but I'd hate to give any exact data here (where , perhaps , a future browser might 'get an idea'
) .
Generally , what I was posting about would look like a shopping list does , handwritten & with an artists' hand-inscribed/incised sig in the pottery .
Also I've only bought those items that were hand-carved (non cast) .
These types of Roseville can sell in the $2k & up range (quite rare) ... some call them 'experimental' , 'trial glaze' ... but I say prototype .
I hardly know beans about any Roseville besides this special niche , so I'd have to research you questions about your cool little piece(s) , cogar .
As an unexact example of what I mean by 'shopping list' , usually going from 'top to bottom' (not side-by-side or 'running together' ) , would look something like :
tree -175 br
leaves- 17grn
body- 534beig
sky - 1433blu
lake-982blu
flwr-311yel
rim-67dblu
"markbassett.com" is also a resource for info on Roseville .
