Is it possible to get a better photo of the back? A little closer without the glare?

Doesn't look Chines to me unless it was for export!

Welcome to the forum , ZyrteK .

Your item appears to be made for display only (attached 'hanger') , not for every day (or any day) use .

It also appears that a fair sized chip , on the rim of it (first image) , has been painted over (in gold) .

Your cool little item also seems as if it's been decorated by hand & has lots of details .

Nice Item for sure, but would have to Agree with KC, it has a very Limoges type look about.  French in style if I was to make a semi-educated guess on it.  Rose and Royal blue color would sure say Europe to me.  Is it possible to get a closer shot of the label on the item.  Then also a question came to my mind on a comment by regularjoe.  It is made for wall hanging for sure.  The question I have is at what point in time (history)  did the making of decorative wall hangings come in the exsistance, or popular?   Not that I would say that has any bearings on aging this item, but just a question that came to mind.

Thanks KC, Ironlord1963 and Regularjoe2! I really appreciate your comments.
Maybe it's not Chinese? And yeah, it looks like it's for hanging on the wall.

There appear to be asian-style 'letters' , under the glaze , in your image of the bottom of the bowl .

The fabric impression on the base ring (image of the bottom) also appears very much like modern fiberglass weave , to me .

My best guess is that this item is an asian bowl , produced in the style that others have mentioned .

gingertomantiques, correct me if I am wrong...but the mark you are referring to is a teardrop mark/label.  This one is in the shape of a heart?!?!
